🐜 The Ant and the Blade of Grass

Once in a sunlit meadow, a small ant stood before a towering blade of grass. At its base gathered a group of insects — a beetle, a ladybug, and a butterfly.

“You’ll never climb that,” laughed the beetle.
“It’s too tall,” whispered the ladybug.
“Maybe try something smaller,” the butterfly suggested kindly.

But the ant just nodded. “I must reach the top. There’s something I need to see.”

Step by tiny step, the ant climbed. It slipped once, paused often, but kept going. The insects below watched in silence.

Finally, as the morning sun rose higher, the ant reached the top. From there, it saw a vast world beyond the meadow.

“It looked impossible,” said the ant, “but only until I did it.”

And from that day on, no insect doubted a dream that began with a single step.

📖 개미와 풀잎

햇살 가득한 초원에서, 조그마한 개미가 거대한 풀잎 앞에 섰습니다. 풀잎 아래에는 딱정벌레, 무당벌레, 나비가 모여 있었습니다.

“그건 절대 못 올라가,” 딱정벌레가 웃었습니다.
“너무 높아,” 무당벌레가 속삭였습니다.
“좀 더 작은 걸 시도해봐,” 나비가 친절하게 말했습니다.

그러나 개미는 고개를 끄덕였습니다. “꼭대기에 올라가야 해. 꼭 보고 싶은 게 있어.”

작은 발걸음 하나씩, 개미는 올라갔습니다. 한 번 미끄러지고, 자주 멈췄지만 계속 나아갔습니다. 아래에 있는 곤충들은 말없이 지켜봤습니다.

마침내 아침 해가 더 높이 떠오르자, 개미는 꼭대기에 도달했습니다. 그곳에서 개미는 초원 너머의 넓은 세상을 보았습니다.

“불가능해 보였어,” 개미는 말했습니다. “하지만 해낼 때까지만 그랬지.”

그날 이후, 어떤 곤충도 작은 걸음으로 시작된 꿈을 의심하지 않았습니다.
