🐘 The Elephant and the Rickety Bridge

In the heart of the jungle, a gentle elephant named Elra carried a small monkey named Miko on her back. They were on their way to bring medicine to a sick lion cub across the river.

 

As they approached the rickety wooden bridge, Miko began to tremble.

“Elra, the bridge looks dangerous. Let’s go back,” he whispered.

Elra paused, then replied, “If we turn back, the cub may not survive.”

“But we could fall!” Miko cried.

“Perhaps,” Elra said calmly, “but sometimes helping someone is more important than our fear.”

With that, she stepped onto the bridge. It creaked and swayed, but Elra moved steadily, each step firm and full of purpose.

Miko clung tightly, eyes shut. But as they crossed halfway, he opened his eyes to see the beauty of the river and felt his fear melt into trust.

They made it across. And the lion cub lived.

Miko never forgot that day — when courage wasn’t loud, but steady.
