In a lush garden, a little snail named Nilo wanted to see the top of the hill where the sun always shone brightest.

But every time he moved a little, he heard the whispers: “Too slow,” “You’ll never make it.”

Nilo ignored them and kept sliding forward—inch by inch, leaf by leaf. He didn’t look back, nor did he watch how far was left.

Days passed, and many gave up on him. But Nilo simply kept going, like the ticking of a clock.
